May 27, Monday- I made a hair cut at a saloon nearby my house. I was so fussy and I was so stupid that I didn’t even get a rough idea about the term layer except one thing- I continue saying that I don’t want to have a mushroom head, that’s all. Then she said I make some layers for you. I was afraid whether that will make me go against school rule in addition she said that was the latest fashion. Actually I have no idea of what is the layer she meant. I don’t know how to say next but just keep saying I don’t want a mushroom head! Then she cut the hair … she asked me several questions.

The result of the hair cut was OK.. I mean at least people can look at it and will not laugh. Then I pay money that cost me RM12. Then she said to me were you 12 years old? I was shocked at what she said then she asked again this time 13 years old I was still shocked. I corrected her by saying that I was 17 years old.. The barber was surprised that “I looked so young” ! Haha…. that was so funny!

May 26, Monday-Feels like melting under the hot sun. A group of class student running here and there to find setting for photography session. Beside a pond, in front KLCC, on a grass field and on a bridge. I brought my father’s Olympus E-510 DSLR, Hoya 58mm filter, Olympus 40-200mm lens and a gray card. Intan helped me. Fabriyantie and Intan hold the gray card for me. The gray card full of finger prints.

After that everyone depart and following their own way. Low, Intan, Kavita, Umaira, Reina, Kirtana and me went to watch movie. While waiting for the movie we went to eat at KFC.

The movie was not nice. I means the movie i not suitable for us but maybe it is nice for small children. While watching movie, Kirtana and Umaira both gave me some pop corn to eat. They were so good to me! Was it true? That was true!

On May26, Monday my classmates and I went to KLCC to take photos for class magazine. During photographing session suddenly we saw a group of securities handcuffed a man. That time Intan was taking the camera so I called Intan to take the man photograph. She took our photograph and then she chased the group of men. Hurriedly she took the photos. On that time I was scared and I was wondering was KLCC still safe for us to go?

Everyday after raining the line will cut off. I don’t know why. I just want you to imagine what is the feeling when you have no chance to surf the net. For me TMNET is like Astro. Server down when it’s raining. If TMNET still not upgrading its service it will lost it’s customers.

I brought my father’s camera Fuji S602Z to my school during Teachers’ Day celebration in my school yesterday.

Mr. Yusof who was standing behind me saw took out the camera then our conversation started off.

Mr. Yusof: Is it your camera?

shuying: No. This is my father one. He bought it since the last 6 years.

Mr. Yusof: Wow let me take a look at the camera. Can it change the lens?

Shuying: It is just a prosumer camera but if it is DSLR it can.

Mr. Yusof was no idea of what the DSLR which I talked about. Then, I startled when i realized that every eyes were looking at me.

Shuying: My father had just upgraded to DSLR recently. It can change its lens.

Mr. Yusof: Can you help me to take photos with my camera?

Shuying: (under some reflections I decline, not because I am not helpful but it is because I can’t bear the risk if something happened to the pictures) Sorry teacher, I cannot.

He had to go to sing Teachers’ Day songs on the stage. He handed over the camera to Layveeniea (my classmate).

Mr. Yusof: Go in front to take photos of the teachers on the stage.

I was too timid, initially I say no but then I went.

I snapped some photos of my friends without their permission. I know some of them were angry. Low Yin Li
had voiced out to me. These make me feel very sorry for them but what can I do this was my duty as a camera lady.

During the Sukaneka event I snapped many photos of the teachers. They looked great. I was so happy at that moment because I have had a chance to take those teachers photos openly.

I gave 5/10 rating for the performances on stage. The performances were quite boring. My camera batteries were used up, that is why I didn’t snap their pictures.
