Bye bye, solar cells

Pn Lee asked me today to return all the school belongings to the school. These including solar cells, dc motors and two small pulleys. May be she realised that I was very discontented with the news. Then, she paid me RM10.00. Hey.. I lost in the race you asked me to modify the car but now you want those things back.

What the hell it is. I don’t know what to say. She said you can make the car in the school lab, I said the tools are left in the house how to make it? She said: “I can ask form 4 girls to do.”

Wah… if like that I wish those girls good luck by making the car with KH lousy tools(oxidized, rusted) or may be I think Pn. Laila the lab assistant will help them.

I still remember last time she asked me to do a hydro power plant model (a functional one). Later I thought what a good proposal asking me to do. Hey, I am from a girl school I learn ‘masakan and jahitan’ in KH not electronics as guys do. She requested me to do that only after I send the physics group project to her– it was only a wind mill.

Hello teacher I am not an electronic engineer. For your information my sister lecturer also asked university students to that hydro power plant. Imagine you asked a secondary school student who just know how to solder a lead wire to do that… may be if I has patience to listen to what she say, under a careful consideration I may say: “Hold on teacher can you wait 8 more years then I will do the model for you.”

Here I wish those new teachers and those who want to become a teacher:

  • please understand your student feeling before you talk.
  • please assist your student (do what you can do).
  • don’t expect too much from your student (they are not superhuman), destiny is on the God hand.
  • try to be a caring teacher.

The above statement is just an opinion, do not take it seriously.

Blind Snake –in the school

Just now I knew that it was a blind snake as newspaper reported about it. I found it when I pulled out a withered balsam plant in the school garden. This creature looks like an earthworm but with scaly skin as you look at it carefully. It looked so exotic so I took out my camera quickly and capture its photo. The information below I took from the internet. To know more about it please continue your reading until the end of this post.

Brahminy blind snakes, Rhamphotyphlops braminus. This is a small, to 6 in (15 cm), wiry little snake with a tail end almost as blunt as the head end. The Brahminy blind snake is the most widespread terrestrial snake species in the world, probably originating in Asia, but now occurring everywhere in tropical and subtropical climates. They get moved around in potted plants by people, and are sometimes called “flower pot snakes.” The Brahminy blind snake is a parthenogenetic, all-female species. There are no males. (The ultimate in evolution, you say?) Without fertilization, the female snakes produce up to eight identical offspring. Blind snakes have been known from Florida since 1979, and are now known to occur in eleven Florida counties and counting. The Brahminy blind snake eats the larvae, eggs and pupae of termites and ants. They are sometimes found in large numbers where they burrow in leaf litter and soil under debris, potted plants, rotting logs, leaves, and trash. Sometimes they are flooded up on sidewalks after a rain.

Solar Car Competition (updated)

I lost. MY car cannot move, so fragile… nevermind I will try again next year.

Pn. Lee told me that I need to modify the solar car to make it work and the folio too must submit to her. I asked her: ” can you give me extra time?” Pn. Lee said: ” take your time”.

Gymnast-Brenda Yap Ka Lye

I like to watch rhythmic gymnastics. And that is one of the reason why I am keeping searching our nation gymnasts videos through you tube. I also searched them through friendster. First time I add one of the gymnast because usually I will just watch their profile without adding them. Not surprising that most of our national sport mans and sport women have their own friendster including gymnast: Fong Siew Teng, Chrystal Limand Siti Haniza; Badmointon player- Wong Chong Hann, Lee Chong Wei.

I was so unhappy on Friday when Brenda Yap kicked me off from his friendster after I added her as my friend. She set her profile as private profile and that’s why I needed to make myself as her friend so that I can watch her profile and photos..

What to say… I wish someone can set up a forum which we can discuss about our nation sports in detail.

A Tiring day

So tired a day after the competition. I sleep…zzz for almost 4 hours. Then, I woke up and try to complete all my homework which I left untouched since Friday. Today I cleaned my hamster cage thoroughly. Just then I realized that those hamsters have grow up very big and fat. My brother bought two big sized wheels for them yesterday. Unfortunately one of the wheel cannot function. I put a bowl of sand for them, they are so happy, playing and cleaning themselves with the sand (sand bath).

There is a good news for me as well which is they can drink through the bottle by themselves, no need me to feed them anymore. They have no need to take water by consuming cucumber. They are ‘independent’ now! But still I have to refill their food. I am thinking what is I make a machine which can automatically refill the feeding bowl when the food is finish.. Ah may be impossible… Pardon I was dreaming just now.

Heart Attack

I had a heart attack for n times today.. When EPPDA result is announced. Our school got the first place. After that Pn. Norizan said this is not over yet. We have to compete again between zone champions. I don’t know why we always so ‘lucky’. ‘They’ are very happy indeed but for me it stressed me up, because I have to do some work ie: to change the slide show and everything. I am sure that I will not be happy and very moody in the subsequent days.

EPPDA

Anti-drug Competition. I am not convinced that I can do well in this competition. As I am not a professional in computer and handling slide shows. Truly I’m quite afraid that people will blame me if I lose. May be I will be trembling during the competition and doing some mistakes which are distracting the judges attention. I hope this will not happen during that day. Uhh.. what a shame a 17 years old still cannot handle a situation. But think again better to have a try. This is good to train yourself to become more braver and fortified with experienced don’t you think so. If you are the boss you will probably hire the one who know how to make or handle a slide show(MS power point) than the one who don’t know anything. Am I right? In conclusion it is always good to participate in that kind of competition. Don’t always grumbling and mumbling yourself… instead we should learn and try to correct our mistakes and improve ourself.
